Wonderful piece, Esko.

I think in companies we see a way station on the way from a hierarchical to a networked leadership structure: the small, cross-functional team, empowered to serve a market and build a product. The teams succeeds through its diversity of skills and inputs, its ability to collaborate, its ability to listen and shift. The team is a tiny network. Is that a model for how larger networks should operate? Can it scale?
