The GOP’s self-fulfilling suicide

As Vox notes, 58 percent of Republican debate watchers favored outsider candidates — Trump, Fiorina, Carson — over experienced Republican politicians.

This is a suicide of the GOP’s own making. The Republicans made themselves into the anti-government party. They became obstructionist for the sake of obstruction. Success to them was stopping government from governing. They shut down government as often as they could. They demonized everyone associated with government — which ended up including themselves. They didn’t just want smaller government (pace Reagan). They wanted to kill government and everyone in it. They are winning by losing.

They wanted anarchy. And they just got their own wish inside their own party.

Heh.
