Oh, my, the apologia for the “artist.”

I hate it when people call that with which they disagree “ignorant.” Poor argument, sir.

Gutenberg was a technologist — the first entrepreneurial technologist, I’d argue. He was a collaborator. He created a tool other used to create art. I dare you to look at his Bible and not see him as an artist, too.

Your tests don’t work. Filmmakers are collaborators. So you disqualify them?

I am not asking for a cradle-to-grave biopic; where do you see me ask for that? But I do ask for some respect for truth and the facts; sorry, but I am a journalist and Jobs was not a fantasy but a man. I ask the filmmaker not to lie through his teeth to make his point at someone’s expense. That is character assassination.
